What makes you get up and come to work for Radialpoint every morning?

The incredible growth opportunity available to us because of the rapidly changing market dynamics surrounding the digital home and end consumers’ digital lives. With the rapid pace of change and increasing complexity in these areas, the demand for turn-key protection and support services by the end consumer is growing by the day.

Describe the culture at Radialpoint and how it’s different from any previous job.

The Radialpoint culture is both challenging and highly rewarding. It is inclusive, so an individual voice can be heard, but it is also very rigorous, critical and results oriented. All ideas are worthy of sharing, but having a voice doesn’t mean you get your way – no matter who you are. It is the idea that is evaluated, not the person.

What advice would you give to someone considering working at Radialpoint?

Be ready to give everything you have (of yourself) to the team. There is no room for individual success in our business, success can only come from teamwork, and so we depend on 100% participation. At Radialpoint you will get to be part of the success – the opportunity here is not to work for a successful company, but to help make the company successful.

Radialpoint strongly believes in balancing work and play. How has this approach impacted your life?

I have two small children under 5 and my wife works. There are days when I need to do carpool or when I want to be there for my daughter’s ballet recital or my son’s first day of nursery school. As long as I plan my time and communicate with the people that depend on me for my work, I can keep my schedule pretty flexible and achieve a good balance.

What has been your favorite Radialpoint staff event and why?

I was really proud to be a part of this company at our recent milestone achievement party. Management budgeted for a party for when we met a key corporate milestone. When the staff committee reviewed options for the party, they felt that spending all the budget on just a party would not be reflective of our corporate values. Instead, we allocated half on the party and the rest went to a new Corporate Social Responsibility fund managed by staff. As part of that first donation we are building a home for 10 orphans in Namibia as part of the SOS Children’s Villages effort.
